Your Impact:
Senior Accountant, Data Analytics responsible to provide analytic and strategic technical leadership & support to the Revenue Transformation Team and Corporate Revenue Team. Responsible for scaling and maintaining the core data platform and maturing the analytical capabilities of the organization. Contributes to data & engineering innovations facilitating critical business insights that will fuel the growth of Axon’s vision and mission.
What You’ll Do:
Location: Remotely within the United States
Reports to: Senior Manager, Revenue Transformation

• Collaborates with functional & business leaders and teams and works closely with stakeholders to manage complex data systems in enabling decision support and key insights across the organization.
• Implements data governance practices in partnership with business stakeholders and peers.
• Works with a team of high-performing revenue accountants and cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, monitor data platform performance and optimize analytical capabilities.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in consuming data from our data platform, thereby equipping the Revenue Transformation team with crucial data analytics and reporting through Power BI. This role involves close collaboration with the Data Engineering team to define pipelines and contribute to the central data platform. Advanced SQL writing skills are a mandatory requirement for this position. Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT (Transformation Framework), and PowerBI will be considered a significant advantage.
• Takes ownership of core data pipelines and integrations that power the organization’s revenue analytical metrics.
• Creates proof of concepts per business requirements.
• Collaborates with the IT team to ensure data integrations between systems are appropriately designed and monitored

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years staff/lead/senior data analytics experience building and supporting data intensive applications, tackling challenging architectural, scalability and reliability problems.
• Experience with process automation, including Alteryx, Power Automate and other RPA solutions.
• Experience includes working with Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Hub and the supporting processes (Data Integration, Governance, Metadata Management).
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and RevStream data structures.
• Extensive experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining business applications on SSMS, Cloud Azure, GCP, and Snowflake stack. Integration of cloud services with on premise technologies.
• Experience working with DevOps capabilities like version control, automated builds, testing and release management capabilities using tools like Git, etc.
• Extensive knowledge in application monitoring, handling user tickets, analyzing data issues.
• Experience with data modeling, data mining, and predictive analysis. Ability to effectively test and document work.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of SQL database concepts.
• Comfortable working in an unstructured environment, taking ownership for results and self-directing your efforts to the subject areas and questions which have the greatest potential impact on the business. Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Proven track record of being personally accountable for the analysis and technical enhancements that drive a business at a large scale.
• Skilled in building reports and dashboards through the use of dashboarding tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Power Query, Looker, MicroStrategy.
• Will be a self-starter, initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 70,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 125,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 84,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 150,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
