Your Impact:

We are seeking an eager Axon CEW Owner for the NYPD to join a growing team in New York City. The Candidate will be responsible for owning all Conducted Energy Weapon related hardware deployment; inventory, configuring, provisioning and support; monitoring, troubleshooting, managing escalations and feature delivery; requirements gathering, documenting user workflows, utilization of Product Board, prioritizing with NYPD stakeholders, communicating with Axon Product Managers, performing User Acceptance Testing, training and releasing to NYPD production environment.

What You'll Do:

Manages all aspects of Axon CEW for NYPD and related stakeholders
Coordinates with NYPD stakeholders to create deployment schedules

Works with Firearms and Tactics Section and ITB to identify hardware and resource needs
Owns NYPD CEW Supply Chain
Manages delivery of CEW hardware to support upgrades and training
Owns configuration, provisioning, and testing of all CEW hardware
Manages CEW inventory within Axon Evidence for Production, Training and UAT instances

Go onsite to NYPD facilities to survey, test, and install CEW hardware
Create workflows and support documentation for NYPD
Axon CEW support

Manage and deploy onsite firmware updates
Troubleshoot Level 2 CEW issues

Owns NYPD CEW RMA process
Owns CEW/Signal UAT testing
Monitors NYPD CEW and interaction with other Axon products for proper function
Troubleshoots and documents daily issues
Creates Jira tickets for encountered bugs

Communicates issue status to NYPD stakeholders
Owns collaboration between all Axon Product Teams and NYPD stakeholders

Manages comprehensive delivery of Axon CEW feature requests

Facilitate NYPD feature meetings and feature prioritization
Document all NYPD feature requirements

Update ProductBoard and Jira to facilitate Feature Requests
Manage voice of customer between Product Managers and NYPD Stakeholders

Supports ongoing CEW training to transition and requalify NYPD officers
Supervises vendor resources to assist in provisioning CEW hardware

What You Bring:

Minimum Education: Bachelors
Ability to pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Level 4 background check
Ability to commute to lower Manhattan and City Island
Ability to learn new hardware/software quickly

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Comfortable working with Windows computer hardware and software
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Strong organization and planning skills
Must adhere to strict deployment timelines

Experience working at a client site or on customer facing projects
Must work well with fellow team members and onsite customer
Ability to multitask, balancing multiple projects per day
Comfortable working at a fast pace on projects that require repetition
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40lbs throughout the shift

Ability to utilize power tools to mount CEW hardware at NYPD sites
Ability to assemble deployment-ready products following exact work instructions using simple hand tools with zero defects and professional finish
