Overview

Axient Interns support work efforts and learn on the job in various areas. Internships may or may not be available at the time of application. Some internships may require a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

Axient Intern Program

• Apply mathematics, physics, mechanical, electric and electronic theory and relative knowledge, under the direction of the Axient engineering staff, to design, build repair, adjust and modify software, data , electric components, circuitry, conrols, mechanical components and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use byt he engineering staff in making engineering design decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and making satisfactory progress in a relevant degree program with an accredited university
• Personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to take instruction
• Must have above average communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.

Applicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
