Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant with qualified construction or specialty contracting sales / estimating to join our team. We are a small awning shop - we sell and install prefabricated awnings and shades. Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of the construction sales process.

There are no cold calls necessary, leads come from phone calls, web submissions and networking events.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the sales team in generating leads and qualifying leads

- Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals

- Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate contracts and close deals

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in Hubspot

- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports

Skills:

- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to effectively negotiate and persuade customers

- Experience in construction or specialty constracting sales is a must.

- Proficiency in Hubspot is a plus

- Strong account management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients

- Existing local construction and contracting contacts a huge plus

During training, pay will be hourly and based on experience. After you complete training, you may choose your payment structure, 100% commisson or hourly plus commisson.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
