Avondale Classical Christian Academy is expanding to add a High School for the 2024-2025 school year! We meet at Avondale Bible Church, and currently offer a 2-day-per-week Middle School program. The High School will meet on Tuesdays during standard school hours, and pay will be on a per-student basis. If you love Jesus and have a passion for teaching high school students using classical Christian methods, we encourage you to apply.

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Provide instruction in multiple subjects, excluding math and science
- Foster an academically challenging, yet consistently encouraging, classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers program directors to create a comprehensive educational program
- Utilize classical Christian teaching standards and methods
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior

- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Education
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in classical Christian education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
- Real faith in Jesus, and a passion for instilling and growing that faith in high school students
