    07/05/2022 Qualifications: Candidates must have a valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), which must be accepted by the State of Connecticut. Individual should have at least 3 years experience. The position requires at least a BA degree with emphasis in special education and must be trained in CPI/PMT.
    Applicants should have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. In addition, they have to be able to perform FBA's and develop and implement BIP's.
    Terms of Employment: July 5-July 29, 2022 Monday-Friday within the hours of 8:45am-2:15pm; hourly wage and benefits in accordance with the Agreement Between the Avon Board of Education. $43.35/hr.

    Applicants for this position must be able to comply with the requirement of Connecticut Executive Order No. 13 G for Prospective Employees of School Boards and Child Care Facilities. This executive order requires prospective employees who begin employment with the Avon Public Schools on or after September 27, 2021, to either show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, be in process of becoming fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or are able to provide documentation that confirms they are exempt from this requirement because a physician, physician’s assistant, or advanced practice registered nurse determined that the administration of COVID-19 vaccine is likely to be detrimental to the covered worker’s health, or the individual objects to vaccination on the basis of a sincerely held religious or spiritual belief and the covered worker is able to perform their essential job functions with a reasonable accommodation.
