POSITION
Avon Public Schools is searching for an instructional leader to work with the school principal in all manner of school leadership. Someone who will lead the students, faculty and staff to create and maintain a positive environment for teaching and learning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess successful experience as a certified teacher at the elementary level or secondary level
Possess or qualify for appropriate CT Intermediate Administrative & Supervisor certification (092)
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in instruction, curriculum development, and assessment that promotes continual improvement of student learning and professional development of staff
Experience with and knowledge of data-driven instruction and decision making and knowledge of creating a positive school culture
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month position, comprehensive salary and benefits package in accordance with the agreement between the Avon Board of Education and the Avon Administrative & Supervisory Association.
