Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain the facility grounds.
• Maintain inventory control.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Maintain records, logs, and checklists on a routine basis.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Follow State and Federal Life Safety regulations in a skilled nursing facility ensuring all Life Safety Codes are met in compliance with appropriate safety, OSHA, AHCA and regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed and precise written records as set forth by the Director.
• Maintain daily direct dialog with other departments.
• Advise the Director of any deficiencies, safety issues, scheduling conflicts, employee concerns.
• Maintain safe work ethics and practices for team members, and ensure a safe environment for employees, residents and guests.
• Maintain good working relationships with other departments.

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Able to work independently as required, but with the ability to be part of a team and be detail oriented.
• Able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Knowledge regarding the construction and operation in all facets of building and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Must read and speak English

• Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the colleague may be required to bend, stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift.

All candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and a level 2 background check.
