A leading tech company is seeking a Product Designer. The successful candidate will lead collaborative design for assigned product areas across designers, researchers, product managers, and developers.The ideal candidate has strong design abilities, typographic skills, digital expertise, and acute attention to detail.The company offers a great work environment!

Product Designer Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $40/hr
  • Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States, candidates must be located in Pacific Standard Time)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
  • 40 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment

Product Designer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or participate in basic research to understand the behaviors, motivations, and needs of our customers and then utilize this knowledge to develop relevant and impactful experiences.
  • Work closely with product teams to understand strategic planning and ensure your work aligns to business goals while creating customer value.
  • Draw upon your ability to map end-to-end experiences and ideate broadly to generate creative solutions to complex user scenarios and business needs.
  • Propose creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Utilize your strong interaction and visual design skills to create amazing product designs.
  • Document final designs in a point-of-reference/specification, adjust design systems and work directly with engineers for implementation.

Product Designer Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of visual UI design/Graphic design for website/mobile apps and work-related experience required.
  • 5 years experience working with developers and PMs (can speak their language).
  • 7 years experience with Figma.
  • 7 years experience with knowledge of CSS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related program. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Have a good understanding of UX (user experience, web, and mobile interaction patterns). Strong visual/UI design skills.
  • Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of standard design principles: color, typography, layout, brand.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under constant deadline constraints.
  • Must have the ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively.
  • Proficiency in current and emerging web technologies and standard design software packages (i.e. Figma)
  • Portfolio for a review with design lead.
