A leading medical institution is seeking a Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will research, identify, and resolve complex invoice issues related to electronic invoices and unpaid invoices. The ideal candidate has systems proficiency: online Accounts Payable system (e.g, PeopleSoft or other large ERP system). The company offers a great work environment!

Financial Analyst – Accounting Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $30/hr
• Worksite: (San Francisco, CA 94143 - Hybrid)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 3-6 Month Assignment

Financial Analyst – Accounting Responsibilities:

• Research, identify, and resolve complex invoice issues related to electronic invoices and unpaid invoices.
• Monitor and resolve integration issues between systems.
• Manage a high volume of invoices and ensure payment within a timely manner.
• Process and code invoices and credit memos.
• Assist with managing AP-related documents.
• Familiarity with sales and use tax requirements and assessing amounts on invoices appropriately.
• Understand and identify transactions that are subject to 1099 reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service to departmental users and vendors.
• Ensure work queues are managed within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Create and run departmental reports or operational monitoring, critical daily operations, and ad-hoc reports for analysis.
• Other AP-related duties as assigned.

Financial Analyst – Accounting Qualifications:

• College degree preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; Experience working with large data sets and reports with accuracy.
• Systems proficiency: online Accounts Payable system (e.g, PeopleSoft or other large ERP system).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact.
• Bright, quick learner.
