Description
Avint LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Audit Management Support Analyst to play a critical role in facilitating and managing audit and remediation activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, assess vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation plans. This role involves coordinating audit artifact requests, supporting auditor fieldwork, and maintaining the agency's audit management tool. Position Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and coordinate ongoing audits and remediation activities between various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate audit artifact requests with stakeholders such as systems owners, business owners and service providers.
  • Support auditor fieldwork and remediation activities by attending meetings, facilitating artifact collection and taking notes.
  • Review, provide input, identify improvement areas and coordinate draft reports.
  • Setup and attend meetings. Take notes and follow up on action items.
  • Coordinate and track completion of risk rankings.
  • Administer the agency’s audit management tool including maintaining and creating audit records, audit findings, corrective audit plans, Provided by Client (PBC) requests and artifacts.
  • Triage, risk rank and coordinate remediation of audit findings.
  • Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence Support.
  • Stays abreast of applicable vulnerability alerts
  • Works with FRTIB’s service providers to identify the presence of vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans.
  • Reviews vulnerability reports from FRTIB’s service providers and helps triage and escalates issues as needed.
  • Provide support to address Executive Directives (EDs) and Binding Operating Directives (BODs).
  • Provide vulnerability assessment and provide risk analysis.
  • Review scan data and address any CVEs that are on the CISA BOD 22-01 KEV.
  • Attend CISA/Cyber Liaison meetings and provide meeting minutes Supports and continuously monitors the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) dashboard.
  • Assist in addressing any new CDM, FISMA, Ongoing Authorization requirements.
  • Triages remediation activities according to FRTIB remediation timelines.
  • Performs threat modeling.
Requirements
Technical Areas of Expertise:
  • Experience applying information assurance expertise and knowledge to either network and/or enterprise security
  • Ability to apply industry “best practices” security methodologies
  • Experienced in managing all major areas of information assurance to include assessment, protection, validation, monitoring, and incident handling
  • Functional expertise in three or more information assurance technologies or capabilities such as Vulnerability/Threat Assessments, Network Intrusion Detection, Secure Operations, Firewall Design & Deployment, Public Key Encryption, Virtual Private Networks, etc. Experience and ability to interface with all necessary levels of management and staff regarding Information Assurance services
  • Ability to keeps aware of local, national, and international trends and developments in the area of information security and relates them to the needs of the client
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline from an accredited college or University required.
  • 5 years IT, IT Security or IT audit experience (e.g., CISSP or CISA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain federal agency required clearance
  • Knowledge of audit and compliance processes.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management and risk analysis.
  • Proficiency in using audit management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proactively performs complex tasks with minimal oversight and produces high quality results -- minimal of errors ​
  • Leads working sessions to solicit ideas and develop solutions
  • Promotes collaboration within team
