AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of a Assistant Catering Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinates catering activities with client representative
• Schedule catering associates and distributes workloads
• Prepare pre-event and clean-up checklists
• Ordering, receiving and inventory of supplies
• Communicates with General Manager, Chef and other associates to ensure high quality products and service
• Monitors care and operation of delivery vehicles
• Follow-up on catered events
• Monitors associate job performance
• Financial management of catering activities through effective food, labor and supply controls
• Works with General Manager regarding menu concepts and special events
• Other duties as required and assigned

• Able to read, write and perform basic math
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and decision making ability
• Ability to lead, supervise, train and coordinate activities of others
• Able to work flexible schedule
• High standard of personal hygiene
• One to three years catering/supervisory experience
