Job Summary
- Pharmacy Technician Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the training of staff and associated tasks.
- Completes assignments deemed by Pharmacy Leadership, along with drug preparation, storage, distribution, and inventory within a variety of pharmacy environments.
- Provides advanced service in at least two specific areas of scheduling, training, or other staff development roles.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years in a pharmacy technician experience.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited technician program preferred.
- Certified as a pharmacy technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.
- Registration with the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of employment.
Work Schedule
- Monday - Friday; 80 hours 2 weeks
- Varied shifts
- Occasional weekend
- Occasional holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $20.00 - $28.75 per hour
