Responsibilities:
•Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns.
•Weeding and mulching landscape beds.
•Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs.
•Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees, including removing dead palms and overgrown areas.
•Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees; add necessary landscaping blocks.
•Watering gardens, lawns and landscapes, and ensuring the sprinkler system is fully functioning and efficient.
•Monitoring and maintaining plant health.
•Completing lawn maintenance for SNF and ALF.
•Picking up branches and clearing debris, as needed.
•Cleaning gutters and roof tops, as needed.
•Ensure that all drainage throughout the property is fully functional.
•Ensure that outside furniture is well maintained and cleaned.
•Ensure that trashes are emptied and not overflowing.
•Parking lot upkeeping, including debris removal, cigarette butt removal and painting curbs and lines in the parking lots.
•Statue upkeep to ensure that statues and signage throughout the property is maintained.
•Weed whacking and leaf blowing to clear areas and ensure that there is no overgrowth on the property.
•Pressure washing sidewalks and buildings to maintain safe environment.
•Painting exterior buildings, as needed.
Requirements:
·Employee must be able to work in all temperatures for extended periods of time outside.
·Employee must be able to work on their feet for six hours.
·Employee must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
·Employee must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
·Employee must meet all Florida requirements for working in a nursing home.
·Employee must have strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
·Employee must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
·Employee must be approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
