When you join the team at Aventura at West Park, you are family. We service short term, long term and AL patients in a beautiful lower level gym with a seperate satellite gym on the rehab floor. *Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to apply*

Duties
- Assist the physical therapist in providing treatment to patients
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities under the guidance of the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Administer modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area

Experience
- Experience with trigger point therapy and occupational health is preferred
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with working in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain patient confidentiality
