This position can be based in any of the following regional offices: Seattle, San Jose, LA/Irvine, Boston, NYC, Arlington, Westfield, Melville.
The Team Leader for the Construction Project Support serves as both a Sr. Construction Coordinator and as supervisor to other Construction Coordinators. This position serves as the subject matter expert for policies and processes implemented by Construction Coordinators and supports the coordinators and construction teams to ensure policy compliance. This position serves as the liaison interdepartmentally for complex problem resolution, audits, and/or process improvements.
Project Assignments: Provides Construction Coordinator support for 1 new construction project or multiple capital projects. (See job description for Sr Coordinator)
Policy Compliance: Supports the construction teams in complying with company policies and procedures, particularly the policies included in the Construction Resource Manual, Safety Resource Manual, and the Quality Assurance policies. Completes bi-monthly audits of projects for policy compliance.
Supervision & Management: Manages up to seven (7) Construction Coordinators by providing guidance, coaching, support, and training. Assigns, reviews, and provides feedback to Construction Coordinator team to ensure process compliance, accuracy, and quality of work product. Assesses workload across team, provides coaching and mentoring on skills, knowledge and abilities. Responsible for driving workflow processes and proactive communication on outstanding tasks/irregularities.
Process Improvement & Training: Delivers and/or coordinates delivery of re-training the team in areas of improvement. Updates the Construction Coordinator Guide as needed with approval of the Director of Project Support. Participates in pilot programs for system enhancements, upgrades and rollouts as requested.
Customer Support & Quality Assurance: Communicates with Project Managers/Directors to solicit their feedback on project support needs, performance and improvements. Participates in internal audits through data collection and running reports.
