Reporting into the Manager, Provider Business Controller, The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for revenue processes including customer contract review, invoicing, accounts receivable and cash collections. The Revenue Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring that financial records are prepared in compliance with financial policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Revenue Accounting Manager will interact with multiple departments across all levels of the organization.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance ore related filed of 5 years of Accounting or Finance experience would be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 4 plus years of progressive finance or accounting experience with one year of leadership responsibility
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong analysis and process improvement skills
  • Innovative problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Continuous Improvement skills
  • Strong computer & system skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to execute job duties with precision and superior attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
  • Strong management and communication skills within every level of the organization
  • Certified Public Accountant, plus
  • Public Accounting experience is a plus
  • Workday and/or Zuora experience is a plus

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Certified Public Accountant

You will be:

  • Managing invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing per contract terms
  • Managing Accounts Receivable reserve calculations, AR reconciliations and AR aging reporting
  • Managing team of employees including setting goals and objectives, developing strategies and assigning tasks
  • Reviewing and approving monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
  • Preparing various internal and external financial reports
  • Developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
  • Analyzing current processes, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing solutions
  • Standardizing process and procedures to continually improve financial processes
  • Collaborating with various department leaders providing insight into and resolution of accounting questions
  • Performing other duties as assigned
