Interfaces with clients and suppliers, as well as internal departments, with respect to quality activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implements and maintains a documented quality assurance program.
Participates in contract/design reviews to ensure that client technical and quality requirements are included.
Interfaces with clients and suppliers for quality issues and requirements.
Directs or performs quality training as applicable.
Performs on-site and off-site surveillance to ensure that Quality Assurance Programs are met.
Performs Quality Assurance reviews or approval of qualification and verification plans and Purchase Order Documentation Files.
Reviews engineering drawings to ensure that client technical and quality requirements and Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
Monitors quality activities to ensure that Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
Identifies and resolves quality problems, including determination of Reportability issues.
Assists in KPI data collection and continuous improvement efforts.

Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
Completes a variety of atypical assignments; works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments.
Works with a limited degree of supervision and may act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work of less experienced employees.

QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelors degree required.Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.2 to 4 years of experience in quality required.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESNoneCOMPETENCY SUMMARY

10-25% overnight travel (domestic and international)
