AVA Counsulting is Hiring a Training Development Specialist Near Bloomington, IL

  • You will act as a primary point-of-contact for financial representatives, AOAs, and Managers during the on-boarding phase of training.
  • Be a customer service representative for all training designed, developed, and delivered within the AR&D department.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain detailed learning plans for financial representatives, managers, and AOAs.
  • Plan and support e-conferences for the field to educate, inform and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with the training and design teams to test content, develop training structure within the learning platform, prepare and implement training for delivery to the field audience.
  • Coordinate and utilize administrative functions of the travel vendor for all travel-related arrangements pertaining to agency training events, for corporate employees and agency field force.
  • Reporting:

o Utilize Agency Admin databases to gather financial representatives' and agency production results for field reporting.
o Use the analytics feature of our learning platform to provide progress reporting to the field and learning environment data to the division to identify needs and wins.
o Gather data from training surveys to provide feedback to designers and trainers to enhance the learner experience

  • You will act as a primary support and advocate for all training that is designed, developed, and delivered within the AR&D division.
  • You will act as a subject matter expert within the agency online learning environment and learner experience.
  • Consults with and supports other business areas training through project work involving AR&D.
  • Leads in process development and executes issue resolution.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in writing professional communications and communicating with various audiences.
  • Experience with leveraging O365 programs for day-to-day work, specifically, Outlook, Excel, Teams.
  • Intermediate technology proficiency.
  • Not required, but preferred:

o Administrative experience within a learning management system, primarily SABA
o Experience working with the Agency Force (representatives, leadership and support staff).

  • Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of administrative, office business or related experience.
