AutoSpa Car Wash is Hiring a Store Manager Near Ellensburg, WA

Ellensburg Store Manager

Summary/Objective: The Store Manager plays a hybrid role at our two car wash locations in the City of Ellensburg, actively engaging both in direct customer service and in overseeing the daily operational processes. This position involves spending approximately two-thirds of the day directly serving customers at our largest store, thereby directly contributing to the AutoSpa brand experience. The remaining time is dedicated to managerial duties, such as coordinating the training of AutoSpa Shift Managers, scheduling, interviewing, and planning, as well as maintaining facility cleanliness and handling customer inquiries. This balance ensures the highest levels of customer service and operational excellence are met consistently. The role demands a commitment of 40-50 hours per week, with the expectation of availability by phone during evenings and weekends to support staff as needed.

Primary Functions:

· Coaching and training staff to ensure excellent customer service and cleanliness of the store.

· It is also the role of the Store Manager to ensure that his or her store or stores have all the equipment and inventory that they need. Regular communication with the Lead Technician on store needs is essential.

· Assisting with area sales growth. Although hitting monthly wash numbers is crucial to meeting revenue goals, there also needs to be a focus on other sales metrics such as building wash club memberships, washbook sales and bringing on new fleet accounts.

Additional Important Tasks:

· Establish, grow and nurture customer relationships.

· Collaborate with Controller/Bookkeeper to assure all data for new hires, time cards, payroll and bonuses is provided and processed in a timely manner.

· Address all customer service issues that arise and notify the Operations Manager as warranted.

· Assist in maintaining cleanliness and inventory of bathrooms and the office and notify relevant staff when in need of cleaning supplies.

· Recruits, interviews, hires and trains all hourly AutoSpa employees.

· Participate and contribute in regular Leadership Team meetings.

Supervisory Responsibility: The Store Manager directs staff management of all non-exempt AutoSpa employees. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with AutoSpa’s policies, vision, strategy and applicable laws.

Work Environment: At each AutoSpa carwash the individual may be exposed to outside temperatures and weather, loud noise, slick surfaces and water.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires extensive attention to detail, long hours on your feet, and some lifting.

*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: *This is a full-time hourly position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The workday may be earlier and later at times depending on store hours, interviews, training, etc. Also, being available for staff by phone on the weekends is expected.

Required Education and Experience: Three to five years’ related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Diploma

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Prior management experience, preferably in a service industry environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to deliver excellent customer service

· Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively with verbal and written communication skills

· Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

· Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines

· Ability to make recommendations on changes in approach, concepts and in the design of solutions as a team member

· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: None required for this position.

· Potential to earn bonuses based off of sales/promotions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
