Summary 

Works with VP of Finance, CRO and outside counsel to draft, negotiate and execute standard customer, vendor, and other contracts. Provides assistance, and support to the company’s executives and management team on contractual and compliance matters. 

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates customer and vendor contracts, leases, and other legal documents. 

1. Works with sales team to ensure that customer contracts are completed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of all parties.

1. Create and maintain a document management and repository system for customer, vendor and other contracts and important legal documents.

1. Assists VP of Finance and outside counsel to maintain company’s compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

1. Drafts, reviews, and approves policies and procedures, regulations, terms and conditions, and other legal documents. 

1. Researches legal issues related to contracts and makes recommendations regarding business strategy, goals, and actions. 

1. Maintains professional growth and development through workshops, seminars, and professional affiliations to stay abreast of the latest developments and pertinent areas of the law. 

1. Performs miscellaneous legal duties as suggested and assigned. 

Minimum Job Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, paralegal studies or related field 

• At least 5 years of experience drafting, editing and negotiating software contracts. 

• Paralegal Certificate a plus 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 

• Knowledge of standard software contract terms and the ability to put that knowledge into practice 

• Ability to participate in complex negotiations with one or more counterparties while maintaining a high level of professionalism and achieving the company’s goals 

This is a remote position. We hire in any US state, but prefer the employee to live in EST or CST to meet business needs. 
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
