SUMMARY

The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for planning, developing, and managing the entire talent acquisition processes and strategies for The Savings Groups and its subsidiaries. This position is required to implement consistent hiring practices throughout the organization, ensure compliance of hiring laws, maintaining the employer brand and online presence including responding to employee reviews. In addition, this position leads the Talent Acquisition team at all business locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include achieving positive results in the following key areas:

  • Develop sustainable and effective talent acquisition processes, procedures, and strategies.
  • Implement consistent hiring practices for all business brands that include items such as interview questions, guides, best practices, and facilitates interview feedback.
  • Mentor, train and lead the Talent Acquisition Team and create a culture that is customer service focused and supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure that all business unit hiring needs are achieved and with quality candidates hired promptly.
  • Implement and track usable candidate data and recruiting metrics that are reported to hiring managers and to senior leadership.
  • Ensure the most current and innovative technical recruiting strategies are being utilized and encompass items such as a social media hiring presence and other best practices.
  • Design, plan and build a strong employer brand presence in partnership with HR Operations.
  • Implement programs that aim to attract, hire and measure a diverse workforce
  • Identifying underrepresented candidate pools and resources for the recruiters to increase the number of qualified applicant submissions that can convert into new hires and track progress.
  • Partner with the Training Department to provide hiring managers with interviewing and selection training that ensures their selection methods are unbiased and legally compliant.
  • Manage full cycle recruiting and candidate source activities including advertising, screening, job alignment, referral programs and interviews by leveraging online resources and ATS.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, and create unique strategies to identify, attract, and engage with the best talent.
  • Develop and keep a network of contacts, recruitment resources and a talent pipeline to help identify qualified candidates.
  • Keep up to date with federal, state, and local employment law and requirements, and enforce adherence to regulations.
  • Work with staffing companies as needed.
  • Primary point of contact for all elevated team issues and concerns.
  • Travel of 25% is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) or more years of experience managing a talent acquisition/recruiting department of 6 or more in a multi-location environment. Knowledge of current best hiring practices, digital recruiting strategies, local, state, and federal labor and employment laws required. Certification in talent acquisition or human resources preferred.
  • Language/Communication/Interpersonal: Ability to speak read and write fluent English. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on communication of channel operations. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and objectively coach associates and management through complex issues.
  • Analytical: Detail-oriented with ability to organize, prioritize and work independently. Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills. Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity; comfort sharing insight and perspective with all levels of the organization.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Self-guided, motivated professional that works thoroughly to the logical end of a task, requesting appropriate assistance when necessary.
  • Technical: Experience with ATS, LMS and HRIS. Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Other: Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion and judgement, ability to adapt to change in direction and prioritize in fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION:

Starting salary range is $78,000 - $96,000 based on relevant experience, education, seniority and training. This position is an onsite position located in the Denver Tech Center in Denver, Colorado.
