Position Overview:

The Appointment Generator is responsible for acquiring additional inventory for the dealership by actively prospecting outside of the AutoNation Customer Network. They will engage with private parties looking to sell their vehicles through various channels and set appointments for onsite appraisals, facilitating the We'll Buy Your Car Same-Day Payment process.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate outbound calls/emails to prospects using prepared scripts to schedule appointments for vehicle acquisition.
• Implement consistent follow-up processes to overcome objections and schedule appointments.
• Review vehicle condition reports and make offers on vehicles using sound judgment and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Drive incremental business through high-level engagement with customers and transition potential sales opportunities to the sales team.
• Collaborate with management to identify current inventory needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, Saturdays, and some holidays.
• Computer literate with the capability to handle various internet-based software programs.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Clear communication and understanding of speech and/or other sounds.
• Clarity of vision for close-up tasks, including computer use.
• Ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
