Automotive Parts and Service Manager needed for growing new car dealership in Coastal North Carolina. The successful candidate will be a forward thinking Fixed Ops Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset that treats their department as their own and takes pride in what they do. It is important that the Parts and Service Manager comes to work with a smile and positive attitude each day and always strives to better their team and their department.
The Service Department at this reputable new car dealership has great CSI, a strong team in place, zero warranty issues, and service is already booked out so this is a great opportunity to take over a well established department looking to get to the next level. It is important that the Parts and Service Manager hired is great at delegating, training and continuously developing staff, and focused on fine tuning processes for continued success. This position will report directly to the Dealer Principal who is very actively involved in the dealership but NOT a micromanager. The Dealer Principal is open open to new technologies and methods of growing the business and is looking for a long-term business partner in their Parts and Service Manager who can bring the fixed department to new heights and is very willing to expand the facility if the department reaches capacity and has the lot space to do so. Must be professional, take ownership of the successes and failures of your department, and care about your team, the customers, and the overall well-being of the dealership. The Parts and Service Manager will be the acting Service Manager at the store so this is not a lead from afar position. Must be able to see the bigger picture in addition to the day to day details. Extremely competitive compensation package for the right long-term hire at this reputable store. Serious relocation candidates will be considered. 5 day work week, M-F for the successful candidate.
