Automotive General Manager needed for growing dealership just south of Hartford, CT. The successful candidate is a General Manager who knows how to lead, manage, and grow the dealership while delivering a positive customer experience and maintaining profitability. This is with a modern facility and profitable store with room for further growth as the factory has promised a large increase in new car allocation. With the big increase in allocation, the dealer is looking for a General Manager who is motivated to get cars sold and take the store to the next level. The dealer has good policies and processes but is looking for a General Manager who can ensure those processes are consistently followed to achieve further success. The store has a good team in place and a growing fixed ops department. The dealer is not looking for a General Manager to reinvent the wheel, rather they are looking for a General Manager who follows the process and holds their people accountable, while also actively developing their staff and motivating their team to be the best they can be. It is important that the GM hired works well with other managers to achieve the store's goals and understands the importance of teamwork. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in automotive management, be a great communicator, and a hands-on leader who does business the right way. Experience on CDK a plus. Stable dealer group and great long-term opportunity.
