Automotive OEM manufacturer is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Athens, AL

Job duties:

  • Oversee administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, as well as safety and recreational programs.
  • Provide counsel to executives on organizational policies including equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, proposing adjustments as needed.
  • Evaluate and refine compensation and benefits policies to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal standards.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including identifying vacancies, conducting interviews, and making selections.
  • Handle challenging staffing issues such as understaffing, disputes, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation to cultivate a positive organizational culture.
  • Direct and supervise personnel activities related to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
  • Coordinate personnel, training, and labor relations activities within the organization.
  • Represent the organization in personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and employees, interpreting contracts and resolving work-related concerns.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and support employees and their families with various needs.
  • Conduct annual sexual harassment and safety training sessions.
  • Facilitate bi-weekly team meetings and establish departmental goals.
  • Coach and support team members in improving processes and procedures.
  • Produce monthly newsletters and organize celebrations for team members' birthdays and special occasions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
