Automotive Lift Services & Advantage Lifts is Hiring a Commercial Sales Representative - Automotive Service/Products Near Dayton, OH

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. As a Commercial Sales Representative specializing in vehicle lifts and commercial garage equipment sales, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while traveling in your company provided car throughout your assigned and protected territory, developing client relationships, and driving sales growth in the commercial automotive sector. Much of every day consists of cold calling accounts and being able to persuade them to begin using our services, so we are looking for candidates that can bring examples of those types of successes in their professional past. The ideal candidate has previous business to business sales experience, a strong understanding of the automotive industry and its products, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

_ Business Development:_

  • Identify and target potential commercial customers in the automotive industry, including auto dealerships, independent service centers, and fleet managers.
  • Conduct research and market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic weekly sales plans to penetrate the commercial automotive market and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing relationships, all of which is documented in our CRM.

_ Client Relationship Management:_

  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within commercial automotive accounts.
  • Understand clients' needs, requirements, and pain points to effectively position our automotive service and product offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client visits and presentations to promote our services, showcase product features, and negotiate sales agreements.

_ Sales and Revenue Generation:_

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives within the commercial automotive sector.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable sales and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical departments, to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

_ Market Intelligence and Reporting:_

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, account activities, and forecasts to the management team.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and stay informed about advancements in automotive technology, services, and industry regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the automotive industry or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive services, products, and industry trends.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Business to Business sales experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
