Machine Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Machine Operator for a company based in Oldsmar, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for processes pertaining to the production of carbon blocks in the extrusion process and monitor extruded material for defects.
Pay Rate
$15.50 per hour – 2nd shift
$16.00 per hour – 3rd shift
Schedule and Hours
2nd shift : Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm
3rd shift : Monday through Friday, 11:30 pm to 7:00 am
Machine Operator Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, performs all required tasks related to the production of carbon blocks.
- Monitor extruded material for defects.
- Inspect finished goods for defective parts.
- Cutting and pulling of extruded material to specified length.
- Effectively communicate all production issues to the production supervisor.
- Assist with packaging of finished goods.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to accurately use a measuring tape, height gauge, and calipers.
- Ability to achieve optimal levels of performance with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and understand policies and procedures quickly.
- Must be able to keep up with a fast paced work environment.
