Responsible for programming, setup, and operation of CMM including, CMM calibration, CMM operation (Hexagon - PC DMIS)

· Conducts inspections requirements at First Article, In-Process, Incoming & Final Inspection.

· Document inspection results by completing reports & logs. Input data into quality database.

· Executes timely & accurate disposition of non-conforming material.

· Work closely and collaborate with other members of Engineering, Sales, QC team, and plant personnel

SPECIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

· Expert in reading blueprints and full understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

· Knowledge of mechanical inspection and proficiency in the use of manual & visual inspection equipment: i.e. Calipers, gauges, micrometers, digital indicators, surface plates, optical comparators, microscopes, coordinate measuring machine, profilometers, hardness/durometer testers.

· Understands travelers and work instructions.

· Proficient at Microsoft Office.

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Strong data entry skills and detail oriented.

· Problem solving ability with an organized & analytical approach.

· Familiar with the EPICOR operating system is a plus.
