At Autism Delaware POW&R, we seek flexible and dedicated individuals to work as Residential Direct Support Professionals in the North Wilmington and Wilmington areas.
We are looking for amazing Full-time, Part-time- Time and PRN direct support professionals to join our residential team. We offer a weekend shift differential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest quality of care to individuals with autism in their private residences
- Supporting a home environment that ensures the participant is safe, cared for, and engaged in their community.
- providing transportation to social and recreational activities
- Ensuring health and wellness
- Advocating for those we support
- Assisting in developing and implementing a support plan
- Documenting progress, support provided, and activities
- Must possess the ability to adapt to diverse work situations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Minimum Requirements to be considered include :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proof of High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess valid Drivers license and Auto Insurance
- Favorably pass all background checks
- Must have full range of motion, physical strength, and ability to achieve and maintain paid training and certifications.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- One year experience supporting people with disabilities and/or mental health needs.'
