Autism Breakthrough of Knoxville is Hiring a Director of Operations and Accreditation Near Knoxville, TN

The Director of Operations oversees daily operations, develops and implements operational policies, and ensures the organization operates efficiently and effectively. The Director oversees Enabling Technology and CQL Accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. The Director also plays a key role in strategic planning, growth initiatives, supply chain management, and ensuring organizational stability. All duties are performed with the knowledge that Breakthrough strives to be the model of excellence for adults with autism.

The Director of Operations must have strong project management skills, understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with persons supported, their families or advocates, and other agencies involved in providing support for persons supported. They must also maintain good working relationships with staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities, be able to prioritize work tasks under the general direction of the Executive Director, and work without close personal supervision.This position requires a deep understanding of operational principles, best practices, and industry standards, as well as knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or a related field required. Extensive experience in operations management highly preferred. Other requirements include supervisory experience and experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
