AUSTRALIAN GOLD is Hiring an Australian Gold Sales Direct Store Delivery (DSD)/Pensacola Area Near Pensacola, FL

SUMMARY

Sells products for manufacturer to business establishments by performing the following duties in the Pensacola Territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional duties as assigned.

Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders and/or add to current sales orders.

Works with Executive Director of Sales and Sales Manager to come up with new ideas for displays, using samples or catalogs, and/or emphasizing salable features.

Sets up display in store or works with merchandisers to set up in-store displays.

Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of in-house production and delivery schedules.

Prepares reports (weekly call log/itinerary, concur/invoices, inventory, etc) of business transactions and submits them on time per the schedule set by National Sales Executive

Keeps expense accounts up to date and submits to The Accounting Team on or before set deadlines.

Partners with Retail Sales Support Rep(s) to keep account activities and literature up to date.

Tracks stock/merchandise levels, at least on a quarterly basis, or as assigned by National Account Executive,.

Relays customer data to National Account Executive, Sales Support Rep, and Account Team as needed.

Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM Platform.

Develops and maintains relationships with customer contacts.

Investigates and resolves customer problems (deliveries, in-store issues, invoices, etc).

Works within guidelines for planogrammed space established with each account.

Maintains vehicle/van in proper service. If there are issues with van, they must be communicated immediately to Executive Director of Sales and Sales Support Rep(s). National Account Executive must give approval prior to servicing any van issues.

Uses assigned van/vehicle for all work-related trips.

Responsible for collections (sales certificates, invoices, etc.) at independent accounts.

Assists in setting new planogrammed sections each new season.

Responsible for loading and maintaining proper van inventories.

Sell in incremental displays in approved accounts.

Visit 18 accounts/stores/customers/prospective customers per week, at least 3 of these visits must be with new prospects. This must be reflected on the weekly call log.

Uses digital calculators when completing account invoices. To avoid any price discrepancies, Australian Gold supplies digital invoice calculators by account. These calculators automatically calculate the pricing and totals.

Manages and maintains warehouse/storage inventory. Contacts National Sales Executive immediately with discrepancies, damages, missing products etc.

Communicates IT issues with phone/computers to IT and National Account Executive immediately and follows ALL instructions given in order to get equipment fixed.

Communicates essential information to the employees within the department and/or within the Company.

This position is responsible for following all documented cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), Work Instructions, and Policies designed to support the development, implementation, and control of the ISO 22716:2007 standard.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

A valid Driver's License is required for this position.
