Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time
Location: South Austin
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Services Coordinator. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records in an accurate and timely manner
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the appropriate care and treatment
- Assist patients with insurance and billing inquiries, and work with insurance providers to ensure that claims are processed correctly
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, and connect them with additional resources as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to all healthcare regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and OSHA
