Austin Machine is a fast growing and well-established aerospace job shop conveniently located in the O'Fallon area right off of Highway 70. Austin Machine provides a clean and air conditioned environment for its employees and is looking to add a First Article Inspector with CMM experience to our team.

Responsibilities:

• *MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE TO QUALIFY* - this is not an entry level position
• Must have prior experience in a machine shop
• Performing in-process production inspections
• Final inspections, as well as approving incoming materials & outside processing
• Inspections are performed in accordance with AS9100 and using AS9102 procedure and forms
• Must be able to read engineering drawing, work with CAD solid models, and be experienced with GD&T
• CMM experience

About Austin Machine:

Austin Machine is an aerospace machine shop that builds machined parts for military aircraft with our main customer being The Boeing Company. We focus on short lead times, small quantities with quick turnarounds, hinges, very large parts, complex 5 axis parts and the use of 90 degree heads in the 5 axis machining. We currently have 40 employees but continue to grow throughout the years. We are conveniently located in O'Fallon, MO off Highway 70, Exit #216 Bryan Road.
