Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems. Your expertise in electrical systems and instrumentation will be crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of our equipment.
Duties:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instruments and control systems in accordance with technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex instrument-related issues
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Fabricate or modify instrument components as needed
- Conduct tests to verify the accuracy and performance of instruments
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Experience with AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software is preferred
- Ability to detect problems in instruments and control systems and provide effective solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $4,191.06 - $5,047.30 per month
