Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. We are located along the banks of the Colorado River with Austin's iconic Pennybacker Bridge as our backdrop. WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS

The typical schedule requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with shifts typically lasting around 8 hours.

As a full- or part-time Cabana Pool Server, you deliver top-tier service to our valued members. Your day-to-day involves setting up and breaking down the dining area, ensuring it's always pristine and inviting. With a wealth of knowledge about our menu offerings, you expertly guide members through their choices. Accuracy is key when handling member checks and closing them out efficiently. Your keen eye for detail extends to anticipating members' needs before they arise, all while maintaining a friendly and unobtrusive presence.

Whether assisting with orders, answering questions, or engaging with members to make them feel at home, you're dedicated to creating an exceptional experience. Your role also involves monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the hospitality areas. With a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence, you ensure our members feel welcomed and cared for at every visit!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CABANA POOL SERVER

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift in an outdoor environment
• Restaurant or club service experience (preferred)
