Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU Manager/Medical Office Assistant to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. Our medical office specializes in pain management procedures, which once per week are conducted under intravenous sedation. The sedation is administered by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). While this is a PRN position currently, there may be an opportunity to join us in a regular full- or part-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform IV placement for sedation administration.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations of patients.
• Monitor patients in the recovery room post-procedure.
• Assist in preparing patients for discharge.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Assist with schedule preparation/confirmation for subsequent week.

Requirements:

• ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in a pain management or surgical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: $19.75 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
