AHA accomplishes this mission by providing affordable or subsidized housing at 15 different properties, administering approximately 1700 vouchers, and offering a variety of programs with case management.

Job Description

Performs complex accounting tasks for Accounts Receivable in support of the Accounting Department according to established polices and procedures.

• Assists in posting / processing accounts receivables for miscellaneous agency draws as they relate to reimbursable grants / loans for various programs being administered.
• Assists in posting SLP fees as they become due from various affordable housing developers.
• Assists in reporting and processes related to all Accounts Receivable amounts owed the AHA to ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications

Experience in Accounts Receivable or Bookkeeping.

Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivables processes and general accounting knowledge

Solid 10-key adding machine skills

Solid computer and data entry skills

Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information.

Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel and the public.

Up to six (6) months on-the-job training to perform the job effectively.

Additional Information

Conditions of employment :

Valid Colorado Driver License and proof of Insurance due to necessary travel amongst various local properties.
