Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Purpose:

The accounts receivable coordinator performs various assignments geared towards helping their company collect all outstanding payments from customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proven track record of displaying strong customer service.
• Resolve and track all payments and ensure they are paid as and when due.
• Maintain accurate records and control reports.
• Resolve all payment issues in a timely manner.
• Manage claims and collections for all short-paid invoices and customer deductions via a customer’s portal.
• Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past-due accounts, and sending follow-ups.
• Cordially relate with other members of the AR staff and other team members.
• Maintain company confidentiality at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.

• Superior spreadsheet skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred
• Prior experience working with chargebacks
• 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections and credit areas

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and focus for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen and/or while utilizing various office equipment (calculators, copy machines, etc.).
