Aujla Electric Corp. is Hiring a Project Manager Near Queens, NY
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Aujla Electric is currently performing work with NYC agencies including SCA, MTA, Parks Dept., DASNY, NYCHA, HPD. Seeking a qualified project manager
- Responsible for overall project success and quality
- Create project durations and keep track of progress
- Attend iobsite construction meetings
- Generate submittals and track the review process
- Track project costs
- Create schedule of values
- Maintain change order logs
- Capture all change orders and work not within bid upon scope
- Work with project accounting on billing on AlA; give accurate completion percentages monthly
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices
- Create subcontractor agreements with scopes of work established by Pre-construction coordinator
- Generate estimates for both change order purposes and for initial job creation
- Must read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Perform quantity take-offs
- Be familiar with current unit prices for labor and material
- Be familiar with local 3 electrical union labor rate. NYC prevailing wage rates
- 2-week look-ahead
- RFIlogs
- Submittal logs
- Price and order project material
- Work with NYC electrical vendors to form relationships and purchase agreements
- Create, review, and approve purchase orders.
- Close out documents
- Create as-builts with project supervisor
- Provide all required closet out documents, warranties, guaranties and maintenance information
- Responsible for the overall quality and coordination of work performed, client interface, and utilization of resources
- Prepare all submittals, RFl's, shop drawings, and change order requests in timely manner
- Ensure accurate and complete project documentation
- Ability to develop contingency plans in the event an item on the critical path is delayed.
- Facilitate and have complete understanding of the
bidding/negotiations/buyout process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
Compensation package:
- Bonus opportunities
