As a Veterinary Assistant you will:

• Assisting clients and their pets for routine office visits
• Establish relationships with the doctors
• Collecting and preparing laboratory samples
• Assisting with diagnostic imaging
• Effectively communicating with clients
• Administering medications
• Keeping medical records
• Recognizing animal behavior norms
• Sterilizing lab and surgical equipment
• Understanding pharmacology basics
• Basic math
• Able to address client concerns and answer them appropriately.
• Ensures hospital working areas are cleaned, stocked and maintained in accordance with hospital policy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
