Job Description: As a Venture Capital Senior Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities, as well as providing ongoing support to portfolio companies. You will work closely with the investment team to conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and market research to identify promising startups with high growth potential. Additionally, you will be responsible for building relationships with founders and industry experts, participating in investment negotiations, and monitoring the performance of portfolio companies.
Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment targets, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape assessment.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating investment terms and agreements.
• Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance, operational support, and access to resources and networks.
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, track key metrics, and provide regular updates to the investment team.
• Contribute to the development of investment theses and sector-specific research to inform investment decisions.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, pitch events, and other relevant forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or startup operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business models, financial statements, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with founders, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
