RACCAR Automotive-Audi Gilbert, a family-owned and operated, multi-dealership group seeks a Lot Manager to join our team. The right candidate will have experience in leading the day-to-day operations of a detail department to make sure the vehicles have met all quality standards and are 100% ready in a timely manner. This position does tend to be hands-on assisting in getting vehicles ready for delivery and into inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of vehicle receipt, inspection, and detail process.
• Manage, train, and motivate lot attendants and detailers to ensure adherence to dealership processes, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain proper organization and appearance of vehicle storage and showroom areas.
• Guarantees vehicle inventories meet dealership quality standards at all times.
• Arrange and maintain vehicle inventories in accordance with dealership specified locations.
• Inspect new cars regarding transportation damage claims.
• Assist with interviewing, and training new hires to ensure all detailing services and processes meet safety, production, quality, and company policy requirements.
• Effectively communicate, discuss, and resolve vehicle detailing goals, results, and problems with management team.
• Assist administrative tasks such as managing email, verifying, and tracking production levels, payroll, and invoicing.
• Assist with photobooth pictures for pre-owned and new car inventories
• Assist maintenance schedules on car wash equipment
• Ensure clean and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications:

• 5 years of Detail / Inventory Management experience
• Experience in the Auto Dealership Industry preferred
• Must have experience in some or all of paint correction: wet sanding, buffing, headlight restoration and detailing the inside and outside of all sizes of vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required
• Strong management, excellent organizational and adequate computer skills required
• Knowledge of reconditioning operations
• Must possess a valid and clean driving record
