Summary
The Service Shuttle Driver is responsible for ensuring prompt delivery and pick up of customer vehicles for appointments, facilitating dealer trades of new and used vehicles as well as picking up parts and equipment for the dealership. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring professional demeanors for all interactions with customers, satellite stores, and vendors. Additionally, this person will be required to ensure proper care of the dealership and customer vehicles and that the vehicles remain in proper working order and free of damage. The individual selected for this role will demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly with multiple levels of personnel and is expected to demonstrate the ability to present information accurately and clearly and deliver an exceptional level of customer service.

The Service Shuttle Driver position is a part time position (Monday - Friday, hours will vary but approximately 20 hours a week) and requires a degree of schedule flexibility on the part of the employee. The Service Shuttle driver may not be needed 5 days week.

Task Statements

• Picks up and delivers vehicles, parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Checks with the service manager, office staff and sales managers before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Delivers parts to body shop when needed and distributes to appropriate body technicians.
• Verifies that invoice matches repair order for each pick-up.
• Advises service or sales managers if vehicles need major repairs and maintenance.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the service, sales and parts department.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Other tasks as assigned.
