ROLE SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Barback and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by overseeing table maintenance, restocking the bar, maintaining the flow of service, and assisting the Servers & Bartenders.
PAY RANGE:
$27 - $30 (this includes the hourly rate tips and is an estimate based on business)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Assisting servers, bartenders, and guests in the bar experience, taking orders, and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner

• Stock bar with designated supplies, ensuring no shortages for guest service

• Relate with guests about needs, and satisfaction with the beverage, drinks, and snacks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service

• Assist the Servers and Bartenders in complying with the Forbes standards

• Operate, maintain, and properly clean all bar equipment and fittings

• Assist with monthly bar inventory

• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper food-handling skills and food safety guidelines.

• Clean and reset tables as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Responsible Beverage Service Certification (can be obtained within 60 days of hire)

• Food Handler's Certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs

• Ability to communicate in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in the food service/hospitality industry
