AtWork Personnel is Hiring a Manufacturing Operator Near Asheville, NC

Injection Molding Manufacturing Facility in Asheville, NC seeking:

Full-Time Manufacturing Operators

  • Climate Controlled
  • Clean room environment (production of medical equipment)

Each shift runs on a two week schedule as outlined below

1st Shift, $18/HR

  • 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat (week 1)
  • Sun, Wed, Thurs, (week 2)

2nd Shift, $18.50/HR

  • 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat (week 1)
  • Sun, Wed, Thurs (week 2)

Manufacturing Operator Responsibilities:

  • Work with injection molding machines loading and unloading product and material in a clean room environment
  • Assemble a variety of plastic parts in a clean room environment
  • Keep detailed records for product traceability
  • Visually inspect parts throughout the shift for early detection of issues
  • Maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels ofthe organization using established guidelinesCompetencies
  • Dexterity for small part assembly
  • Good eyesight for small parts (corrective lenses are acceptable)
  • Able to read and follow detailed instructions
  • Communication Proficiency
  • Teamwork

Work Environment:

This job operates in a clean room production environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Manufacturing Operator Physical Requirements:

This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing, sitting, or walking a minimum of twelve (12) hours a day. Lifting up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis, up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on a frequent basis. This position also requires a person to be capable of performing sustained motion for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day and capable of repetitive motion for up to twelve (12) hours. Good vision at close distance is required. (Corrective lenses are acceptable.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
