Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate clinical expertise, and exhibit compassion in all interactions. We are looking to fill three to four day-time shifts (M-Th) -- so that's when we need you. NO nights, NO weekends, NO call, NO home visits, NO hospital, NO travel and NO after-hours charting!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe treatments and evaluate patient medications with a goal of health as opposed to symptom management
• Provide education to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Perform procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, and wound care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of NP program or MSN certification from accredited school.
• Must have and maintain a valid Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska.
• Two (2) years experience preferred (>2000 hours) but not required. We have a Nurse Practitioner on staff that can operate as a supervisor and help with attaining full practice authority.
• Able to "run the show" (in time) and oversee other licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Proven ability to communicate with strong verbal skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Plays well with others and effortlessly maintains a positive attitude!

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with phlebotomy procedures
• Familiarity with neurology and endocrinology (training provided)
• Experience with hormones and physical medicine (TPI's and joint injections) are a plus, but not required.
