MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare jobs for shipment including sorting, counting, packaging, palletizing.
• Ability to extend skidding and create framework around systems for shipping support using a table saw, nail gun as well as standard and impact drills.
• Coordinates outbound freight shipments with different carriers using shipping portals.
• Proficient in handling pallets, crates and raw material with a forklift and pallet jack, including around the warehouse and onto freight trailer in a safe and responsible manner.
• Perform ERP systems work.
• Picking up and/or dropping off material at local suppliers utilizing company vehicle
• Understands shipping requirements domestically and internationally.
• Make sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner.
• Taking and logging photos of all products leaving the facility
• Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email within specific time frames.
• Work with sales, production, and project managers to ensure on time delivery is met.
• Produce pick lists, packing slips, Bill of Ladings, and customs documents.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Maintain daily information boards.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures, as well as the safety requirements of our

customers where applicable. Immediate reporting of any safety violations or concerns.

• Ensure all applicable regulatory standards are met with regards to loss prevention, accident

investigation, OSHA compliance

• Works with team members to actively improve safety of the plant.
• Ensures that work area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.
• Ensure safety action items are completed accurately and timely.

Quality:

• Follow SOP’s and ensure all products are manufactured to specifications.
• Assists in the development of quality processes improvements and work instructions.

· Work with team members to identify root cause to failures and implementation of corrective actions. · Works in accordance with product specification to ensure minimization of defects. Fixes defects and reports issues if occur. · All material and projects leave the facility in perfect condition. Productivity: · Ensure MPS dates are completed on time. · System assemblies are palletized in a reasonable time frame. · All packages and freight leave the building at the specific due date. Continuous Improvement: · Participates in ABM initiatives and activities. (5S events, Kaizen events, weekly CIP meetings, problem solving, improvement projects, etc.) · Work with team members to provide input to improve process and workspaces. · Provide feedback to your supervisor for process improvement ideas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years of logistics experience
• 5 years of Inventory experience
• Domestic and International shipping with both freight and small parcel
• Microsoft office
• 2 years forklift operator experience
• History of using an ERP system
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve success.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Successfully pass background check
• Must be punctual and without attendance issues.
