Summary:

The company has experienced tremendous growth and is looking to align itself with an exceptional Part Porter for Six Hundred West Main - Winner of World Design Awards 2021. The position plays a crucial role in providing an additional level of customer service to residents at an exquisite apartment building in downtown Charlottesville. Reporting directly to the onsite Property Manager, the Porter is responsible for assisting residents and delivering exceptional customer service.

The Porter position is responsible for the following duties:

Maintain neat, clean, and organized maintenance all areas of the property
Provide excellent customer service to residents and promptly follow up on all resident service requests
Ensure a great first impression of the property, ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times
Inspect the property throughout the day to remove trash, debris, and droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of trash
Direct guests to the reception area or the appropriate office/room

Qualifications:

High school diploma, some college preferred.
Experience within the real estate industry and/or customer service or sales background within luxury goods or services such as car sales, travel, advertising, furniture, or any high-end retailer.
Previous work experience as a Porter, Janitor or Custodian
Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment

Job Type: Part Time

Schedule: Work weekends (9am - 5pm) and one evening per week (6 pm -11 pm). 20-30 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: $15 - $16 /hr.

Location: 600 West Main Street, Charlottesville, VA
