Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Engineer with interest and experience in the AI space. To ensure success as a Engineer, you should have excellent full stack coding skills, and experience with Python, Django and PostgreSQL. Ultimately, a top-class candidate demonstrates strong dynamic problem solving skills in code that can match the fast-moving pace of innovation associated with AI. This candidate will start as an independent contributor alongside other engineers.

Core Responsibilities

• Contributing Python code to a Django application with standard integrations to core technologies like PostgreSQL and Redis
• Contributing to architectural decisions and tech stack selection
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs
• Identifying web-based user interactions
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application code
• Developing and implementing architecture to support user interface concepts
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance
• Documenting application changes and developing updates

Skills Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
• 3 years of software development experience
• Proven skills with Python, PostgreSQL, and Django or similar languages and frameworks
• Strong problem solving skills in code that can match the fast-moving pace of innovation associated with AI
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
• Nice to have:
• Experience with DevOps (currently using AWS)
• Model fine tuning experience
• Experience with AI libraries (e.g. Langchain) or data analysis libraries (e.g. Pandas)
